  1. IF YOU HAVE BEEN USING A VERSION OF MEMO MASTER LESS THAN VERSION 2,
  2. YOU MUST RUN THE CONVERT PROGRAM INCLUDED ON THIS DISK.  Simply type
  3. CONVERT at the command line and pick the databases one at a time to be
  4. converted to Memo Master v2 format.
  5.  
  6. *When running MEMO, always change to the directory where MEMO.EXE is
  7. located.  MEMO will create database files if they don't exist.  For calling
  8. MEMO from anywhere, you can add this batch file (MEMO.BAT) to your batch file 
  9. directory or any directory that is in you path:

  11.                         @Echo Off
  12.                         C:
  13.                         cd \MEMO
  14.                         MEMO %1
  15.  
  16. In the above example batch file you would, of course, change the drive and
  17. directory to match where you installed MEMO.

  19. *NOTE* IF YOU ARE A REGISTERED USER, WRITE DOWN YOUR NAME, PHONE NUMBER AND
  20.        REGISTRATION NUMBER JUST AS IT APPEARS ON THE TITLE SCREEN FOR FUTURE
  21.        REFERENCE.  IF YOU SEE A VERSION LATER THAN THE ONE YOU HAVE ON A BBS,
  22.        YOU CAN DOWNLOAD IT AND USE THE YOUR REGISTRATION INFORMATION TO
  23.        REGISTER THE PROGRAM.  TO DO SO, TYPE MEMO /REGISTER ENTER YOUR NAME,
  24.        PHONE NUMBER, AND REGISTRATION NUMBER EXACTLY THE WAY IT APPEARS ON
  25.        THE TITLE SCREEN NOW.  THANKS,
